About Me!

MEGAN WRIGHT

Hello! I am a MA Public History student from Royal Holloway, University of London.

My main interests lie within the Early Modern Period, a time which was rife with Witchcraft Persecution.

You may have noticed that I have spoken very little on the persecution of Witchcraft within Britain. Instead, my work aims to exploit the weird and wonderful, to understand the practice and performance of Witchcraft throughout the centuries. Bewitching Britain looks at magical beliefs throughout time, whether that be applied to humans, beasts or plants.

It seeks to spell-bind and enlighten readers to the history of magic, not only in their local areas, but in Britain!

These magazines host a combination of my own drawings and historical sources. Please find my drawings and primary source links in the bibliography.

Any feedback would be appreciated!
